Quality of construction and timely delivery, were just two of the reasons the U.S. Government selected Lake Superior Cabs, Inc. to construct a control tower cab for the airbase at Fort Indiantown Gap in Pennsylvania.
The completed housing is 12' by 15' by 10' high and features a fully enclosed access ladder with fenced observation roof for viewing test flights. The interior features 2" thick Styrofoam insulation covered with 5/8" plywood and ¼" fireproof structo glass, drop ceiling with 2' by 2' acoustical tiles and commercial grade floor tile. Windows are 1" thick double thermo pane. The cab was pre-wired for 100 amp service.
